A beautiful old barn, red paint peeling, rests on a warm, golden stone foundation, ivy leaves tangled around the old wood and stone. Looks to me as if the foundation stone's pieces were cemented together ... and probably repaired many times over the years. How many winters ... springs ... summers ... falls ... how many hard working men and women have passed this spot ... too many to count. And yet they do count ... every one of them.
This barn is located at Fields Of Flowers in Purcellville, Virginia.
