Description
A corner on Main Street of a beautiful Pennsylvania town, Schellsburg, in early springtime, 2012. I fell in love with the wonderful rich red bricks, the tulips, but also the wonderful peeling paint on the white shutters. The faded painted sign, A. W. Colvin Dry goods brings to mind a wonderful place that must have been the hub of activity of the town once upon a time. I haven't yet been back to see if the store is still open ... but I really would like to know "How much is that bunny in the window"?? Also ... cool antlers in the smaller window as well!!!
Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens on April 7, 2012 ... from the car window as we stopped for the only street light in town. Much editing in many programs, including Photomatic Pro, Photoshop CS4 and CS5, Adobe Camera Raw and some hand painting in Corel Painter 11.

Gosh Lois - this picture has so much depth and texture to it, yet you masterfully (as always!) prevented things from going over the edge the way a lot of other people do. I really like the tone and lighting as well - awesome!!! V'f
