Description
Inspired by James Blunt's song "I'll Take Everything"... which I interpret to mean time will eventually take everything.
Took the long way home from the cabin one weekend in June. I came east on Pennsylvania's Route 30 ... and somewhere between Bedord and Chambersburg I found this amazing abandoned farm house. What really struck me about this one is the wonderful additions added on to the main structure, which was not small to begin with. At one time, I like to think it was filled with a happy, growing family.
Original image taken with the Nikon D300. 18-200mm vr Nikon lens.

The angle, the detail and lighting, the overgrown vegetation and the orange sky all lend to an ominous mood. Fabulous work. VF

excellent architectural photography... what an interesting history these remnants of the past must have! vf

Gregory, that's what caught my attention, too ... fascinating the way they built onto the original home ... one can't help wondering about the circumstances ...
