Description
Even if you grew up like me, a pretty lucky little kid whose mom and dad tried to fulfill a lot of your wishes, still, for most of us, there are probably a few things that even now ... well past little-kid stage ... we dream of.
Like ... Red Shoes.
Perfectly capable of going out and buying myself a pair of red shoes now. But. Somehow, I never seem to have the occasion or the extra money or the pure spunk to throw $$ away on something I probably wouldn't get a lot of use out of. I have a very wide and deep practical side. Well, most of the time.
Or ... maybe I just like having a bunch of things out there rolling around in the Universe to still think about how much fun they'll be on that far-away someday.
I like somedays.
Just got myself thinking of that gal with the snappy nightie she was saving for a "special someday" ... her husband found it in her drawer after she died.
Hmmm ...
Anyhow, I liked this plump little mourning dove's "red shoes" ... thought they, too, were pretty snappy.

The misty branches have wonderful dynamically moving lines that highlight the star of the picture, Lois.
