Description
A lovely old stone house relishes the September sunshine, letting the light seep into her ancient bones, warming all the creaking, cracking places. She has been watching the world change around her, slowly, for many years. Watching the humans as they come and go ... watching the seasons ebb and flow. As she welcomes the gentle September breezes, does she also welcome the wicked, cold of winter that she knows is coming ... does she think of winter with dread? Or does she not care at all ... simply accepting each day as it comes ... the good with the bad.
Charles Town, WV.
Some homes ... some structures ... have great personality ... have life ... I like to think they have a bit of the heartbeat of the universe within them. I'm pretty sure this one does.
