A whimsical look at the world of those who share our planet, but who usually go unseen by we who walk upright. A "peeper" ... a tiny, tiny little froggie, no bigger than a thumbnail, lounging and enjoying the early morning sunlight, wrapped in the cool petals of a dew-laden rose. Ahhh ... life is good!!
Photo captured in July of 2013 with the Nikon D7000 and the 105mm Nikkor macro / micro lens. Colors adjusted and texture added in Photoshop CS6.

I love this Lois! Peepers and other tree frogs are so hard to find (at least where I live) and you have captured this cutie so beautifully!

What secret did the little peeper tell you Lois? He's so funny! I saw this show on the Brazilian Rain Forest, and the frogs that live in the waterfall. Their calls can't be heard because of the loudness and sound of the waterfall, so the male Frogs have taken to doing "DANCES!"So... they stretch their legs in hopes of the female seeing their "agility" and Male prowess. Anyways, this whimsical image you took reminded me of that show... Love it.. They have that looking in the distance, stare that makes him see so interesting... hehe.. LF5

These tiny frogs are so hard to spot, but you managed to get a fantastic image of this one. L/F/T
