It's a compilation of some old favorites and several brand new images, and is a tribute to the music of Elmer Bernstein and the spirit of the novel by Harper Lee.

. . enjoyed your description very much Lois . this image is beautiful in monotone :)
Lois Bryan replied:
thanks so much, Sharon ... I'm not really a black and white kinda person, but the way the light was, on that bleak day, seemed perfect for the little mockingbird. I'm so happy you enjoyed it!!!
Theresa Tahara
On closer look, maybe not b&w but looks great as it is. ;-D
Lois Bryan replied:
Hi Theresa, thank you!!!!! No, not black and white ... not even selective coloring with the eye ... that's the kind of day it was ... all dark and broody!!
Steve Harrington
Beautiful feel of winter light, Lois! Plus, I have learned a lot about a bird I don't know! :) Great book too! v/f
Lois Bryan replied:
Thank you, Steve ... He was in the perfect spot with that light ... glad you enjoyed the info on him ... they are really amazing little guys ... very territorial during nesting season ... heaven help you if you have to walk by their home ... I've had them dive bomb me!!!
