Description
A dreamy and impressionistic look into the past ... life as it was in the once-British town of Colonial Williamsburg in the 1700s, now Williamsburg, Virginia, United States.
In addition to the charming architectural features and gardens, the town of Colonial Williamsburg also offers exciting re enactments, dramatic skits and interesting demonstrations throughout the historic area.
This image is a collaboration between my son, Rich Bryan, and myself. The original photograph was shot by Rich in March of 2015 with the Nikon D40x and the 18-135mm lens. It was then digitally hand painted by myself in Corel Painter 2015 with the Wacom tablet and stylus. I'd also like to sincerely thank Karen Burns of Digital Paint Works ( http://paintedworksbykb.com ) for her guidance and inspiration in this new painterly direction I'm taking. I also want to thank Karen for the lovely texture used.
