Description
The journey from the parking lot up to the main lodge at Blue Knob All Seasons Resort intimidated the heck out of me the first time I had to traverse it. Though it looks icy and dangerous in this image, picture it in sub zero weather, snow blowing to white out conditions and wind biting through the best of your warm (haha) ski gear! Yet ... every day in winter this staircase is climbed with great enthusiasm by many a skier ... on their way to a day of great fun and thrills on the slopes. The configuration of lines and angles combined with the natural beauty of the sky as you see it in this shot has always fascinated me. Hope you enjoy!

Hi Carla .. thank you!!! Actually, that's the amazing part ... these young guys and gals, all geared up with their heavy ski boots on, hats-gloves-ski-goggles and carrying their skis and bags, just clomp up these steps like they're talking a walk on the beach!!!
