Description
A pretty male Eastern Bluebird, enjoying the soft light of an early spring morning, perches on a slender willow branch and stretches his wings. Beyond, the Shenandoah River gurgles along on her way and the valley, ringed by the beautiful still snow-covered Blue Ridge Mountains, begins to awaken.
Image painted by hand, digitally. The bluebird is very loosely based on one of my own photos and the background was created from my imagination. I used Corel Painter 2019, a Wacom tablet, the art pen stylus and many beautiful digital brushes and pencils.
This image was NOT created using AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... it will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
