Your eyes aren't completely open yet, nor is your brain completely functioning. Mother Nature's frosty, foggy autumn morning matches your mood. No bright rays of sun ... no brilliant autumn colors ... those are gone ... well at least for the present. And in the oncoming several months the gray will only intensify. The colorless frosty air you breathe matches the sluggish feel in your icy bones. You dig your gloved hands deeper into your pockets and hunch your shoulders against the still, chill air. What on earth are you doing out this early, anyway?
Your dog barks at nothing. Even the squirrels are still in bed.
The pup is finally ready to head back home. Back to a warm dog bed for him ......
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally.
