Artist's Description
I spent nearly every Sunday of my childhood on my grandparents' farm in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. As an only child, there were no playmates other than the occasional cousin who might happen by, so my time was spend wandering the woods, splashing in creeks, chasing butterflies, climbing trees (well, no not really, lol, ... I'm scared to death of heights), but ... i did collect wildflowers.
Numberless pretty wildflowers bouquets presented to my Mom wilted in the back seat of the car on the way home. But no matter ... there were always plenty more.
The wedding of a very dear couple that my family and I attended was held on top of our beloved Blue Knob Mountain, in Claysburg, Pennsylvania last October (2015). In keeping with the rustic and natural theme, Mason jars of these lovely wildflowers were to be found everywhere. I'm so glad I had my camera and caught the glowing beauty of this one which certainly embodies the joy of the day.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced.
