Description
A lovely lady dressed in historic colonial garb strolls through the garden in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg on a summer's day. The sunlight passes through the entrance of the wooden fencing, welcoming us to come inside and take a stroll as well. A vibrantly colorful trumpet vine trails and twines around the post of one side of the entrance, glowing in the late day sun ... further enticing us to come, stroll and linger ... where the past and present gently rub shoulders.
This image is hand-painted, digitally, and very loosely based on one of my own exclusive and original photographic images. Created in Corel Painter with a variety of brushes with a Wacom tablet and the art pen.
