Happy to announce that "Almost There" won 2nd place out of 669 entries in the Fine Art America contest ""All Art" held by the All Art Group 11/18/19. Many thanks to the group administrator, Joe Leyba, and to everyone who voted for my image. Congratulations to the other winners!!!
A twisty country road curves and winds up and down through fields and forests. This particular road, which began in the township of Pavia, in Central Pennsylvania, meanders steadily upward on its way to its highest elevation of 3000 feet, at Blue Knob Mountain. A beautiful area at all times of the year, the brilliant colors of autumn can be breathtaking.
Image sketched and painted by hand, digitally, and influenced by and very loosely based on one of my own photos using Corel Painter 2019, a Wacom tablet, the art pen stylus and a wide variety of beautiful digital brushes.
This image was NOT created using AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... it will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
