On a snowy afternoon on top of Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, PA, I took a walk and discovered this beautiful vision of our flag touched with a light dusting of frost. Looking more closely, the twinkling, red and green and blue and yellow lights of Christmas made the perfect addition of color in an otherwise seemingly colorless landscape.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Roaring Spring side - wiggle your way through Morrison's Cove every chance you get. Especially the southern portion through Woodbury, Lafayetteville, Salemville, Maraiah, Waterside, New Enterprise, and Loysburg Gap. You can shoot through the gap & head south to Everett, or better yet, head up on through Snake Spring run and take it all the way to Everett. Looking forward to seeing what you find!! :)

Lois this is gorgeous!! Very nice. Sometime when you're in the area leaving Blue Knob, cross over the 4-lane and drive up to the top of the mountain behind Claysburg. You'll be at the top of Baker's Summit, then cross down into Morrison's Cove, Turn right at the bottom of the mountain and just wander. You won't be sorry! :) -v
