Christmas is almost here, and as you stroll along Colonial Williamsburg's Duke of Gloucester Street you feel like you want to pinch yourself to make sure you haven't stepped back in time about 200 years.

Admiring the natural swags and della robbia wreaths of fresh greens and fruits that decorate the old houses and stores, you notice the softly sifting snow has begun to fall more heavily. It's begun to cover the buildings and trees and street. The darkening skies ... and the weather dude on the tv ... all foretell a substantial storm is on its way.

Looks like it's going to be a perfect old fashioned Christmas!
