Happy to announce that "And These Thy Gifts" has won the Fine Art America contest "Thanksgiving Memories" 12/5/17. My congratulations to the other winners, and sincere thanks to the contest administrator, Kanisha Moye, and to everyone who voted for my image.
A tiny sparrow, buffeted and blown by the winds, snows and frigid temperatures of a rare but wicked blizzard seems to be giving thanks for his little black oil sunflower seed.
Bless us, Oh Lord,
and these thy gifts which
we are about to receive from thy bounty,
through Christ, Our Lord.
Amen.
