Description
The skiers and snow boarders at Blue Knob All Seasons Resort are a hearty bunch. They seem to revel in the most fierce winter weather that Mother Nature has to offer. Just beyond this tiny shed the ground slopes down a 3,000 ft mountain. Not all of the 3,000 feet are skiable slopes and trails, but there is enough to satisfy even the most adventurous of the fans of East Coast snow. And let's be honest ... ice!!
Taken on top of Blue Knob, Pennsylvania's highest ski-able mountain, in January of 2009. Treated to an update in 2018.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

I very much enjoyed viewing the masterfully done piece from you portfolio to show off to all other artists and to attract perspective buyers. Thanks for sharing your beautiful artwork with all FAA members. Well worthy of this recognition.

Hi Lois, Thanks for the uplift on the painting One Within Another. I had to edit it after I posted it on fineart america because when I cropped the image there was no signature. Not a pride thing but thought it had to be there. So I got a signature in there with software. I like peaceful quiet images and you have a lot of them, beautiful! I have a degree in forestry. I enjoyed after the saws, tractors and trucks stopped and everyone had gone home and the sun was setting. It was so peaceful, quiet and beautiful in the woods. I great memory. Have a wonderful and safe driving Thanksgiving.
