Digital Art - Digital Art / Non Photography Based Digital Freehand Painting
A winding path through a quiet springtime garden turns moody when the storm clouds roll in and bring winds and rains.
In the Mid Atlantic area of the US, storms that blow through in spring can be gentle and mild ... the sun can even continue shining ... or can bring tornadoes and great devastation and tragedy. Back when I was a kid, we never really knew what was coming until it was upon us. Fortunately, our tornados weren't nearly as frequent or as violent as those in the plains states, but they still have their own brand of magic and beauty. These days our cell phones beep and honk with warnings that bad weather is on its way. In the case of this image, I like to think the storm was one of the milder ones ... but ... one never really knows, do one??
This image is a stormier version of a previously uploaded piece ... see "A Chilly Spring Morning" for a less wet work of art.
Painted freehand digitally from my imagination in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet and art pen stylus, utilizing many beautiful brushes.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
