Description
I think we all hope that those who enter public service do so with the intent of doing good for their fellow citizens ... be it on a county, a state or a national level. At this crucial time in our country's history (and when has the timing not been crucial to those who are living in it?) I'd like to send up a prayer for all the players on the political stages across our land ... to remember their early aspirations ... their original intent to do good.
Image taken at the amazingly beautiful capital of the state of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, June 10, 2010, in the company of many of my dear photography friends. Our outing started out with drenching rains ... but as you can see ... began to clear as the day wore on. Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. Tinkering included hdr in Photomatix from a single hand held image, duplicated and tweaked in Photoshop CS4.

That green accent on the cupola is fantastic, Lois... it brings this photo alive. Also very beautifully captured and composed. F&V

Great image, Lois, with nice composition, great color highlights (almost selective color), and especially nice perspective. I also appreciated your description. (voted)
