Description
As 2017's Hurricane Jose moves out, the skies over North Carolina’s Outer Banks begin to lighten, the gray shades in the ocean turn to blues, and the leaden clouds pick up the warm tones of the setting sun. Beyond the tall grass-covered dunes, which storm after storm keep the wonderful homes along the beach safe, the waves still thunder ... those rolling in and those rolling out collide in glorious white caps and spray. A exciting time of transition.
This painting is based on one of my own photos (not from "stock" or public domain) which I used as a starting point and which I loosely sketched and digitally hand painted using Corel Painter.
NOT created by AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art and product purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
