Description
Under the impossibly blue skies of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the Atlantic Ocean rolls and tosses and teases the shoreline on a glorious summer day. With a good sea breeze and the tides and phase of the moon just so, the ripples and currents and combers can get quite frisky.
Having just returned from another visit to Corolla, and having a camera full of delicious new images, I found myself looking at a previous work and deciding it needed a bit of a facelift. Though I love the more muted and pastel tones of the original, (By The Sea, By The Sea), I decided that more richness of color was more akin to my most recent impressions of the magic of the area.
Image created from one of my own photos and digitally hand-painted with a variety of beautiful brushes in Corel Painter 2018 on a Wacom Intuos tablet and art pen.
This image was NOT created using AI - Artificial Intelligence programs.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
