Description
Santa crosses the cold winter meadow, the wind blowing his beard, on the search for the perfect Christmas tree to bring home to Mrs. Claus. Only the best will do.
When I was a kid our Christmas trees were chopped down from one of the fields at my grandmother's farm. It wasn't a tree farm, so they were scrubby things ... but once we got them home and loaded them up with ornaments and tinsel (anyone remember that stuff?) the gaps between the branches didn't even show. They were gorgeous ... and there was always magic!
This image is a hybrid ... partly created freehand from my imagination, and partly inspired by one of my own original photos. It was hand-painted, digitally, in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet, the art pen, and lots of beautiful brushes.
Not created using Artificial Intelligence / AI.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
