Description
Depending on the time of year, a walk around the pond near my house usually reveals a few surprises. In addition to the usual snakes and mosquitoes, you might find a huge snapping turtle, a calling red-winged blackbird, a shy heron winging away, Canada Geese and their goslings, water lilies, some pretty wild flowers, and, if your timing is right, the wild dogwood tree will be in bloom.
Digital hand-painting loosely based on one of my own photographs.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
