Description
Five full daisy blooms arranged in a vase bask in the sunlight, shedding smiles and joy to all who pass by. Is there a happier flower anywhere than the simple daisy?
He loves me, he loves me not. Remember sitting in the dewy lush green lawns at your grandma's house, counting off the petals as a child, wondering about the future that stretched seemingly endlessly before you? And now, here I am, at the other end of that future, looking back ... still smiling, and still wondering.
I'm saying that this image is not photo based, although I did begin sketching the lines and form from one of my own, original images taken a lovely bouquet given to me by my husband. The image was hand painted, digitally, in a watercolor style, in Rebelle with computer, art pen and tablet.
Not created using Artificial Intelligence / AI.
Fine art and product purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Lois, so light and refreshing, definitely reminds me of a sunny Spring day. Lovely! LF
Lois Bryan replied:
Aw Deborah thank you!!! I do love these guys!!! We planted three plants about 2 years ago, but the plants around them overgrew, so they didn't get enough sun. Only one left this year!

Lois, this is lovely. My family hundreds of years back, always named the first girl 'Margarete' or 'daisy' in English. Somehow the Daisy is my favorite. I like wildflowers but usually mix the daisy in with it. These are beautifully done. I love your work even though I repeat myself saying it over and over.
Lois Bryan replied:
Sabina, I love your story about your family ... what a lovely tradition!! Yes, there is just something about daisies ... they are such cheerful things!!! And never apologize for giving such lovey comments ... they and you are truly appreciated!!!
