Description
The sky and the seas are a-broil with turbulence and color and movement over Scotland's magnificent Duart Castle. Also known as Caisteal Dhubhairt in Scottish Gaelic, it is located on the Isle of Mull, on the Sea of Mull and Loch Linnhe off the west coast of Scotland.
This painting is loosely based upon a photo taken by my son, Rich Bryan (it's not from stock or "public domain") during his semester abroad in 2012. I had some fun sketching his original image, adding an exciting sky and hand-painting it in Corel Painter. "Duart Castle" is a cropped version of an image previously uploaded to my website, "Storm Over Duart Castle."
