Description
A herd of glossy black and white holstein cows tuck themselves away in the shade of a brilliant autumn-dressed tree near Everett, Pennsylvania. The rolling sunny hills form a perfect backdrop to the peaceful, lazy Sunday-afternoon nap of the diary cattle.
The lovely autumn colors were just beginning their colorful display ... which we look forward to each year, counting the days until the season is at its peak in every geographic location and elevation.
I wonder if the cows can see the color, too?
This image is based on one of my photographs, captured in October of 2014 near Everett, PA. with the Nikon D7000 and the 18-200mm vr Nikkor lens. It was treated with a bit of editing magic in Camera Raw, Photoshop CS6 and Corel Painter 11.
