His sharp eyes alight, the beautiful red tailed hawk watches the skies ... ever vigilant for a change in the weather or another bird of prey wandering into his territory.
My original photo of this handsome guy was taken at the Lathrop E. Smith Environmental Education Center near Olney, Maryland many years ago. I hand-painted it in Corel Painter using the art pen and Wacom tablet.
Fine art and product purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
