Description
Here in the mid-east coast - mid-atlantic area we're slowing going through the motions of enjoying autumn, watching it fade, and anticipating that first snow fall. I know a lot of us really dread those first fluffy white flakes, but for me, it's always a time of excitement and fun. When our dog Sadie would get outside and start romping in the white stuff, we used to marvel at how the years melted away and she'd turn back into a puppy again. Here she is in all her glory ... a little disappointed in the pitiful accumulation ... but she seems to have a hopeful glint in her eye that more snow might be on its way.
A glorious show dog, Sadie stands in her usual proud stance in a field of rapidly disappearing snow one sunny morning after the year's first light snowfall. A northern breed, the Samoyed is never happier than when surrounded by the cold, fluffy white stuff.
A loving, intelligent breed, she knows that here on top of Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, Pennsylvania, if she waits a little longer (the first snowfall there is usually October 23rd), there will be lots more snow for her to play in.

After reading your description I can no longer look at this photograph as an image of a Samoyed. In actuality she is a 4 legged loving member of your family and is entitled to all of the right and privileges as any 2 legged member. She is absolutely Gorgeous! What a delight it must be to watch her dashing through the snow.
