The spring evening in beautiful Colonial Williamsburg has turned unexpectedly chilly ... the perfect weather for a dog-walk in these magnificent surroundings. All the colors of the gardens have taken on the glow of the golden hour ... even the red brick pathway has the look of a soft, warm yellow. Following the yellow brick road was never lovelier.
Image hand-painted, digitally, and very loosely inspired by one of my own photos captured in the gardens at beautiful Colonial Williamsburg, VA, near the Golden Horse Shoe clubhouse. Painted in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet, the art pen, and a variety of beautiful brushes.
