A soft-focus depiction of a blooming yellow rose is surrounded by muted foliage, creating a dreamy ambiance. The delicate petals and gentle colors evoke a sense of tranquility and natural beauty.
I'm not growing roses anymore ... their natural enemies proved too much for little me. The weather, the positioning (no morning sun), the black spot, the cane borers, and not to forget our "domesticated" deer population (which was considerable), all conspired to bring an end to my rose growing days. But while I had them, and when Mother Nature and the Universe cooperated, they sure were pretty! One of my favorite times was in autumn when the flowers were still in bloom, but when an early morning frost came to lightly kiss each sweet petal and leaf. This image, digitally hand painted in Rebelle with their magnificent watercolor brushes, is done in memory of those days. I took the photo that this started with from a lovely bouquet of flowers given to me on the birthday of our son. The rest is memory and magic!
Loosely based on my own photo and digitally hand painted Escape Motions' Rebelle using their watercolor brushes and the Wacom tablet and art pen stylus. No artificial intelligence programs used. Fine art as well as product purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... your wall art will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
