Description
A glimpse of a glittering antique chandelier hanging in one of the magnificent rooms of Winterthur, the mansion of the DuPont family in Wilmington, Delaware. The sparkling beauty catches and reflects rainbows and glimmers for two reasons. One is the utilitarian purpose of lighting the lovely room in which it hangs ... but the other is to set the imagination afire with dreams for anyone who chances to glance up. OOO something sparkly!!
"Golden Light" is another version of a previously added image which can also be found here in my portfolio, "Chandelier At Winterthur."
Image painted by hand, digitally, and very loosely sketched from one of my own photos using Corel Painter, a Wacom tablet, the art pen stylus and many of the beautiful digital brushes of the great John Lowther.
This image was NOT created using AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... it will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Love what you've done with this. Enjoyed our visit to Winterthur.
Lois Bryan replied:
Thanks, Paul ... there was a lot of construction on the exterior when we were there so I'd love to return. I'm hoping to get back during the azalea season this spring!! I hear it's gorgeous!!!
