Honored to announce that "Good Morning" tied for first place in the contest "Daylilies - Color Photography" May 7th, 2016. My sincere thanks to the contest administrator, Brooks Garten Hauschild, for all her hard work. Congratulations to my 1st place co-winner, Amy Porter, and to the 2nd place co-winners, Krissy Katsimbras and Kenny Glotfelty, and to the 3rd place winner, Wonju Hulse. Most importantly, thanks to everyone who voted for my image!!!
In the summertime, this little guy and all his brothers and sisters love to come take a dip in my pool every night (I think it rains toads here) and every morning it is my great pleasure to scoop them out one by one and set them free. I decided one morning that it was time these guys paid for all my rescue efforts with a little modeling. Fear not ... after 5 minutes or so he was sent on his merry way!!!

... laughing .. thanks sweetie!!!! Isn't he a darling??? I get to play with them in the summertime ... they have pool parties at night, and every morning I scoop them out of the skimmers. The little peepers like this guy let me pose them and take snaps ... I love them dearly!!!!

Ahh, Bob, don't encourage me .. I've got a million images of these guys ... was working on another one for the fun of it just last night!!!! It'd be raining toads in Fine Art America if I had my way!!!

Sharon, we get several different kinds of frogs / toads ... but this particular kind ... I actually think they're called "Peepers" ... are just the dearest, most cooperative little guys ... i adore them!!!!
