Description
On a magnificent October day in Harpers Ferry WV, a man and his dog have taken a few moments to rest beneath the colorful leaves of a maple tree. The last light of the day is slanting down Hamilton Street like a beacon ... no doubt urging the two homeward ... but .. not just yet. An autumn evening like this doesn't come along every day ... not even every year. Let's enjoy the fleeting beauty just a little longer.
Image captured Oct. 20, 2015 with the Nikon D750 and the Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8.

Purchases of products with my images will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation, fine art / wall art purchases will look their very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

What a great image of this historic place, the man and his dog are a highlight. Well done Lois.
Lois Bryan replied:
Thanks, Skip. I'm glad you liked the man and the dog. My first instinct is to get rid of people ... but in this case I really liked the story they were telling ... so I didn't remove them.
