A colorful abstract city street, shops lining the sidewalk ... all curiously vacant for the moment. Is it dawn ... are the stores not yet open, or ... ?
I dream in color. And I have a lot of dreams about wandering around in big buildings or city streets, usually crowded with a bunch of hurrying people whom I don't know. And I get lost ... a lot. This is one of my many attempts to re create one of those ... by now all too familiar ... dreamscapes. Maybe a wee bit more colorful than my dreams? But I do like that all those people aren't in here, jostling around and confusing me even more than I usually am!!
It just occurred to me that with an abstract, maybe I shouldn't explain the image. Oh well. You go ahead and see whatever you want to in it. It's shark week right now ... so ...
Image created entirely from my imagination ... no photography involved ... and hand-painted digitally in Corel Painter. NOT created by AI - Artificial Intelligence.

Can't explain it, Lois...but there's something about this art... including the reassuring colors and the lines in black...that really appeals to me. It has an "incomplete completeness" that I find comforting.
