A bright red barn stands staunchly in front of her green fields of tall corn on a late summer evening.
An aimless drive down a simple country road can reveal all kinds of beauty. The kind our eyes knew so well as children and which we may not have seen in many years. It can still be found if we take the time to look, but I don't know for how much longer. Take the time ... you'll be glad you did.
This image is a vertical view of a personal favorite of mine, In The Cornfield, which can also be found here in my gallery.
Image hand-painted, digitally, and very loosely based on two of my own photos captured near Bedford, Pennsylvania. Painted in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet, the art pen, and lots of beautiful brushes.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
