Description
An equipment shed, tucked away in a grove of trees, on the very top of Blue Knob Mountain, Blue Knob All Seasons Resort,in Claysburg, PA. If you look closely, you can see the ski lift and the ski lift chairs in the distance.
It may just be an old shed ... but it's got a million dollar view!!
This image isn't quite straight from the camera, but it's close. The graduated blue of the sky is all Mother Nature's. Taken with the Nikon D300 January 22 of 2011 using the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens.

Lois, This is a wonderful winter scene. In Tucson, Arizona where I have lived for 57 years, snow is rare except for in the surrounding Mountains. So that's why this image is so attractive to me! Our ski lift in the Catalina Mountains, a subject of several of my paintings, is the southernmost ski lift in the United States at 9.000 feet! F/L JERRY

I would have loved to have been on this hike, Lois. Love these kinds of snowfalls, you know, like the trees were sprayed from cans. L/A
