3/27/18 ... beyond thrilled to announce that "La Casa Del Gato" came in First out of 2500 entries in the Fine Art America contest "BOLD and BEAUTIFUL" hosted by the Grand Greeting Cards group. Sincere congratulations to the 2nd and 3rd place winners!! And my most happy thanks to the contest / group administrator, Karen Wiles, and especially to everyone who voted for my image.
One of the best parts of my trip to Arizona a few years ago was a visit to Tucson's Barrio Viejo (Old Neighborhood). With my little D40x clutched in my sweaty hands, I strolled down streets bordered left and right with the most colorful and exciting homes my architecture-loving eyes had ever seen. Looking closely, this particular home reveals a couple of truly fun surprises ... one of which explains the title.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
