Description
A tall colorful tree, one that's seen a lot of years, leans into the autumn sunshine at Caledonia State Park in Fayetteville, PA. Soaking up the last of the season's warmth until another spring comes around, she enjoys the breezes blowing through her orange and golden leaves. Beyond her and across the waters of Caledonia Lake, the rolling hills of the northern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountain Range gently rise and roll into the distance.
Lakeside is a vertical crop from the left side of "A Soft Autumn Afternoon," another of my images recently uploaded to my portfolio here.
This image was hand painted, digitally, in Corel Painter using one of my own exclusive photos (not from stock or public domain) as a starting point.
Not created using Artificial Intelligence / AI.
Fine art purchases of this image as well as products will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Lois, congrats on the featuring of this work. You have certainly mastered the actual use of "photopainting" using brushstrokes in whatever program you are using. I love this peaceful piece that is subtle in terms of color and presentation. Excellent Fav
