A bouquet of rich, deep red roses fill a red glass vase with beauty and with love. Shining in a beam of sunlight, they take on an almost unearthly sense of magic. Symbolic of many things, among them love, respect, and appreciation ... the red rose is always a gift that is received with appreciation ... and sometimes ... happy tears!! They are truly ... love in a vase!!
This image was hand-painted in Corel Painter and loosely based on one of my own, original photographic images taken of roses given to me by my son on a recent birthday. Every petal, every nuance of light and shadow and color was painted with love.
