A colorful malachite butterfly enjoying the sweet fragrance of one of the peonies in my garden. The glow of the golds of the light against the backdrop of sunny greens is typical of a glorious summer afternoon.

update ... seems this little guy is actually not a malachite, but a tailed jay butterfly!!
About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced.
