A stem of graceful alstroemeria, which were part of my lovely Mother's Day bouquet, are finally starting to shed their petals (almost three weeks later!). Also known as the Peruvian lily, the parrot lily and the Lily Of The Incas, these beauties represent wealth, prosperity, fortune, friendship and devotion.
Image sketched from and loosely inspired by my original photography ... and digitally hand painted in a watercolor style in Rebelle.
