Description
Oh fickle, fickle March. One day you give us sunshine and warmth ... blue skies with wispy white clouds floating above us. I heard a mockingbird's first warble of the season yesterday ... and the robins have returned ... plus the green shoots of the daffodils are inches high.
And the next day your winds are snatching the umbrellas from our hands and flying them down the sidewalks in the snow.
It was spring.
It was spring, until you, March, decided a change of weather was in order. Until you decided it was still winter.
Snow is on its way again.
I'll chase the umbrella and put it away for now and keep the snow-shovel handy. April may be the cruelest month ... but you, March, are a tease. And so fickle.
