Description
As the summer sun sets behind us in the west, a magical and unexpected show is silently performed for us in the eastern sky. Above the Atlantic Ocean, a vibrant ballet of color and shape and form glides across heaven. Though the dancers ... the clouds and colors .... are mute, as they sway and pirouette, their orchestra ... the rhythmic roars of the rolling waves ... plays the only notes we need to lift our hearts.
"I must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky; and all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by." John Masefield

My # 2 fav place is sunset that means most anyplace, when the dimmers come, so do the reds, and if lucky enough to display it like you can in this fantastic image, the color off that light is captured for only that second, this is beautiful my friend. I have a few sunsets in my arena that you might take a look, bet there is one, hopefully close..Outstanding
Lois Bryan replied:
John, thank you ... coming from you ... with all your glorious and brilliant sunset artwork, that is a wonderful compliment!!!! You KNOW I love your sunsets!!!!
Stuart Harrison
I really love the tree in the composition.....the colors in the sky are just spectacular!
Lois Bryan replied:
Stuart, thank you!!!! Unusually, this particular house is situated in a small copse of rather stunted pine trees. Most houses in this spot are somewhat barren. But I loved the way the dip and flow of the branches sort of matched the clouds!!! Thanks for noticing!!!

Lois Bryan replied:
Thank you, Nancy ... I practically tripped over myself to get to the camera in time!!!
