Description

A sweet little Canada Goose family floats over in my direction, with clearly hopeful expressions on their faces. Residents of our local pond, they're clearly cautious but confident that even though I've got some kind of big black thing in my face, somewhere in my pockets will be something good to eat.

The pond where the proud mom and dad has chosen to raise their family makes a lovely first home for their 6 baby goslings. It's not too big and not too small with tall bull rushes and cat-o-nine-tails and reeds at one side and smooth, grassy banks at the other ... lots of trees for shade ... and open spaces for sun.

On this particular day, reflections of the overhanging trees vie with peeks of blue sky in the water as the golds of the fluffy babies ripple and shimmer.

Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
