Digital Art - Digital Art / Photography Influenced Digital Hand Painting
Strong colors against a black background have always caught my eye.
As the heat and bright sun of summer fade into another memory and darkness begins her autumn descent once again, we turn our eyes inward, to our homes ... to those little nooks and crannies where we find the ghost of summer's lost color. In a cool dark corner, a glowing orange pumpkin rests inside a woven straw basket. Branches of fall leaves, bright red berries and one still-colorful rose hip are draped beside the pumpkin. Another seasonal transition has begun.
Image sketched and painted by hand, digitally, and very loosely influenced by one of my own photos which I captured at the Juniata Mercantile, between Breezewood and Bedford, PA, using Corel Painter 2019, a Wacom tablet, the art pen stylus and digital brushes from the beautiful Sargent collection.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... it will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
