Many thanks to the contest administrator, Teresa Trotter, and to everyone who voted for my image. Sincere congratulations to the other winners.
Honored to announce that "Red Sky At Morning - Nubble Lighthouse" won first place / tied for first place in the Fine Art America contest "Monoliths" sponsored by the "Favorite Photographic Images" group. Many thanks to the contest administrator, S Katz, and to everyone who voted for my image ... and congratulations to the other winners!!
"Red Sky At Morning - Nubble Lighthouse" tied for third place (or came in 10th depending on whether you go with the computer ranking or not, lol ... I choose "not") in the Fine Art America "Lighthouse" contest hosted by Mark Miller on July 18, 2015. My thanks to everyone who voted for my image and congratulations to the three first place winners, Timothy Hacker, Hazel Holland and Chris Bordeleau.
There's an old saying I remember hearing from my Dad ... "Red sky at night, sailor's delight ... red sky at morning, sailor take warning." Since the lighthouse image was taken in the morning, and the cloud image was taken at night ... have I confused the universe???
