Description
The image of this colorful rooster, a Rhode Island Red, was captured by my son, Rich Bryan, during a recent visit to Williamsburg, Virginia. He was using the Nikon D40x and the 18-135mm Nikkor lens. I think he did a great job of capturing the brilliance of the sunlight on the gold and red colors of Mr. Rooster's feathers as well as the haughty, bossy expression that is always so typical of these guys.
I couldn't resist playing with the image in Corel Painter's 2015 edition and giving it a full hand-painting using the Wacom tablet and brushes.
