Honored that "Sach's Covered Bridge" tied for third Place in the 9/18/2021 contest "Covered Bridges." Many thanks to the contest administrator, Carolyn Mickulas, and everyone who voted for my image. Congratulations to the other winners!!
Sach's covered bridge spans Marsh Creek in Adams County, Pennsylvania, near Gettysburg. During the Civil War, the bridge was known as Sauck's bridge and was used for troop movements by both the Northern and Southern armies. Image taken August 7, 2010.
About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence.
