This is Sadie, our then - 11-year old Samoyed, in her element. A northern breed, she's never happier than when she's chin deep in the cold white stuff!!! This shot was taken the day after the Washington - Baltimore area's December 20, 2009 blizzard. Camera used was the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens, UV filter attached.

Sadie will be 15 years old in June, 2013 and is slowing down quite a bit. Not a lover of summertime, we all hope she gets to enjoy another winter, as she turns right back into a puppy when the snow flies!!!
